  • Nancy Evans Begley is the Founding Director and Producing Artistic Director for VP Theatre Arts and is thrilled to both produce and perform in In Harmony: A Holiday Cabaret in her hometown of beautiful Parker! With a performance and education background that spans light opera, musical theatre, dance, coaching, and beyond, her voice and presence have captivated audiences across the globe.

    On stage, Nancy’s notable Colorado credits include The Drowsy Chaperone (Drowsy), Mary Poppins (Mary Poppins), 9 to 5, The Musical (Violet Newstead), A Chorus Line (Sheila Bryant), Nunsense (Sister Hubert), Hairspray (Velma Von Tussle), Footloose (Ethel McCormack), A Quiet Thing (Producer, Director, Performer), An Unexpected Song (Producer, Director, Performer), and What We Did for Love (Producer, Director, Performer), among many others. Her performances have earned her the Marlowe Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Musical, recognition by the Colorado Theatre Guild for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Musical for her portrayal of Drowsy/Beatrice in The Drowsy Chaperone, and, most recently, a Denver Gazette True West Award for her work as a producer.

    Nancy holds a BFA in Musical Theatre Performance from Metropolitan State University of Denver, is an ongoing education student at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts, and spent a decade training at the Perry-Mansfield Conservatory in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. She has produced works ranging from intimate cabarets to large-scale musicals, bringing a signature blend of creativity, precision, and heart to every project.

    Beyond the arts, Nancy is the Founder and CEO of Queen B Enterprises, LLC, a nationally recognized sales leadership and consulting firm specializing in building and scaling world-class sales organizations. As a trusted advisor to enterprise-level and mega-producing real estate teams nationwide, she provides expert coaching, strategic management, advanced training, and innovative go-to-market planning. A celebrated keynote speaker and dynamic connector in the realms of sales, business development, and marketing, she has been featured on national stages and is widely regarded as a “best-in-class” thought leader.

  • Katie Reid Milazzo grew up in Colorado and is thrilled to be back home after 15+ years performing and teaching around the country. BFA Music Theater, University of Oklahoma. National Tours: Annie (Ronnie Boylan), ‘S Wonderful (Jane), Lincoln Center’s South Pacific (Nellie Forbush). Regional: Marvelous Wonderettes, Last Five Years, Sweeney Todd, Oklahoma, Full Monty, Ordinary Days, Princess and the Pea. Colorado: Performance Now's Nunsense (Sister Robert Anne), White Christmas (Betty Haynes) , Give 5 Production's Footloose (Vi Moore - Henry Nomination for Best Actress) and Town Hall Arts Center's I Love You…Change (Woman 2).  Professional directing credits include School of Rock at Parker Arts and Jerry’s Girls at the Mizel, both with Veritas Productions. She is the Resident Acting Director at Performing Arts Academy where she directs, music directs, and teaches shows and classes.   • Noah is honored to make his stage debut (voluntold) in his home town, historic theater. As a true “triple threat” performer who cannot act, sing, or dance, he has avoided the stage and focused on being the best audience member possible. Someone who tries to clap on 2 and 4 (or is it 1 and 3?), cheers loudly, and is the first to stand for an ovation. He would like to thank the Academy,  director Katie Milazzo, and his co-star and incredibly beautiful and talented better three-quarters, Nancy Begley, and the cast of the show for making a space for non-talented folks to contribute to the arts. By day, Noah is a deputy IT Director for the state of Colorado and Board President for Veritas Productions. Wishing you the merriest of seasons, and thank you for supporting our emerging company!

  • Shelby Varra is incredibly excited to be singing some of her favorite tunes with some wonderful fellow performers this holiday season! You previously may have seen her as Doralee in 9 to 5 at the PACE Center, Queenie in Wild Party at Aurora Fox, and her all time favorite, Belle in Beauty and the Beast at PACE Center. She was most recently in Rock of Ages at the PACE Center playing the role of Constance/Ensemble/Sherrie Understudy. When Shelby isn’t performing you can catch her running her newly opened local coffee shop—Perfect Blend! As always she would like to thank her family & friends, as well as her sweet babies, Elodie & Ozzie, for encouraging her to continue to do what she loves!

  • Kristen Lester-Miller is beyond excited to be joining Veritas Productions for the first time in, In Harmony: A Holiday Cabaret! Kristen graduated from CCU in 2023 with a degree in Vocal Performance and Theatre. Since then she has been performing and teaching professionally in the Denver area. She currently works at Valor as a vocal coach and CCU as an Intermediate/Advanced Tap teacher. She also owns a private voice studio through her home. Recently, 

     Kristen was seen in Guys and Dolls at Vintage Theatre and The Little Mermaid, White Christmas, Joseph, and Newsies at Performance Now Theatre Company. She hopes you all enjoy the show and have a Happy Holiday!

  • Trent is a Henry-Nominated Music Director/Pianist/Conductor. Some of his favorite musical productions include: Musical Director/Pianist/Conductor for ‘Memphis’ and ‘On Your Feet’ at Little Town Hall Arts; Musical Director/Keyboard/Conductor for ‘Dreamgirls’ at Lone Tree Arts Center; Musical Director/Pianist/Conductor for ‘Into the Woods’ at The Arvada Center; Pianist/Conductor/Actor for ‘The Wild Party’ at Denver Center for the Performing Arts; Musical Director/Pianist/Conductor for ‘Something Rotten’ at the University of Northern Colorado and Musical Director/Pianist/Conductor for ‘Blues in the Night’ at the Aurora Fox.

  • Lara Maerz (Stage Manager) is thrilled to help ring in the holiday season with Veritas! Lara has been stage and production managing professionally for over 25 years. She is the resident production manager for the Boulder based Catamounts and most recently stage managed the remount of last year's Henry Award winning Hedwig And The Angry Inch presented by Give 5 Productions. Here in Parker, Lara has stage managed The Full Monty, Matilda, Escape to Margaritaville and Footloose. Thanks for supporting live theatre and happy holidays!

  • Christina Smith is a freelance percussionist based in Denver. She earned her Bachelor's in Music Performance from University of Central Florida in 2021, with an emphasis on drum set and classical percussion. With experience in theater, orchestra, jazz ensembles, and chamber/world percussion, she enjoys the challenge of versatility as a percussionist. Recent credits include a residency at the Candlelight, The Buddy Holly Story at Town Hall Arts Center, and “Spelling Bee” with Sasquatch Productions in Parker. Some of her favorite shows that she’s been a part of include “Hunchback”, Heathers, RENT!, Next to Normal, and Anastasia. When she’s not performing, Christina enjoys her dream job as Inventory Manager at Denver Percussion in Centennial.

  • Coire Geare (they/she) is a Denver-area bassist, cellist, and educator. Recent bass credits include Buddy Holly (Town Hall Arts Center), Head Over Heels (Shifted Lens), and Fiddler on the Roof(Performance Now!). On cello, Coire has performed in Anastasia (CDP), The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Vintage Theatre), and Mary Poppins(Give 5 Productions).

    They also freelance throughout the Denver Metro Area with groups such as the Denver Philharmonic, Wild Beautiful Orchestra, Rock Candy, and in various jazz, rock, and cabaret settings. When not performing or writing original music, Coire runs a tech-recycling business, cuddles with their dog, and plays video games that are definitely too hard for them.

  • Brett Maughan is a freelance lighting designer. He was the Resident LD for BDT Stage, where he lit Something Rotten,Footloose, Peter & the Starcatcher, and Mary Poppins(2015 Henry Award), to name a few, and frequently designs for the Aurora Fox, Performance Now, Platte Valley Theatre Arts, Veritas Productions, Candlelight Dinner Playhouse, Give 5 Productions, and Town Hall Arts Center.   • Tanner Kelly is an award winning director, nationally recognized educator, and a Henry-nominated music director/sound designer around the Denver Metro area. He is a five time Henry nominee, including nominations for musical direction, outstanding production of a musical, and sound design. He also received a 2024 OSCA award for outstanding direction of a musical for Sweeney Todd. Tanner is the Artistic Director/Conductor of the Aurora Singers, the Musical Theatre Director at Regis University and is the Performing Arts Coordinator for PASB in Mapleton Public Schools. Tanner has directed, music- directed and/or played in the pit with companies such as Breckenridge Backstage, Town Hall Arts Center, Vintage Theatre, PACE, Performance Now, Stagedoor, Sasquatch, Veritas, Evergreen Players and Shifted Lens. He holds a music degree from the Lamont School of Music at DU, a teaching degree from MSU Denver, and has a Master of Music Education degree from ASU.
